Ten Sleep Part 1
The first part of our road trip. We drove from Seattle to St. Regis, Montana on Saturday. We camped along the Clark Fork, and then headed in to Ten Sleep. We have climbed for two days so far. The rock is excellent: steep, pocketed limestone. There are lifetimes of rock here, and we have yet to see another climber. Yesterday, we were awoken at camp by a cattle drive. I went to see what the noise was, and there was a cowboy on a horse herding a stray cow in our campground. Out on the road, there were hundreds of cows being driven down to the main highway.
