Went out to Mazama to check on the progress on our foundation. The footers are in, and the forms are ready for the stem walls to be poured. I am working on getting our water adequacy form taken care of, as that is the only roadblock left from getting our full building permit.

Progress! The footers are in, and the forms for the stem wall are in place. Once they pour the stem wall, they will finish roughing in the septic connection under the foundation, then add a layer of radon rock inside the walls. Then a vapor barrier goes on top of that, then foam, then the mesh with the electric heating elements, then the slab is poured!
Finished product. Incredibly juicy, with intense applewood smoke flavor.
