Liberty Bell, Beckey Route, 7-8-07

Laura and I did this classic route on a cold July morning. It's the easiest of the Liberty Bell group routes, but still excellent. The approach gully is a little bit on the sketchy side due to loose rock and scree, but there were friendly goats to accompany us.

  • Laura rappelling back into the gully after the climb.  The descent from Liberty Bell is one of the easiest in the area.  3 easy single rope raps and you're back to the top of the gully.
